The word Brostep to me is insulting. But thre accepting it! reminds me of EMOS that used to be insulting but look at them now...wankers

Agreed, out of all the names you could pick.

I get the impression people are using it to the extreme to ridicule it though. I think the only people taking it seriously are the admins...

This is actually one of the funniest dubstep related things ever. Up there with MC Buffalo at the DSF Awards, the Blackdown vs Geiom vs Ramadanman trash talk thread and the time SNH got Dubluke into the Sun.

I want to understand what Brostep is but as far as I can see it is just a joke?

I don't find it particularly funny so what is it's purpose apart from supposedly being humorous?
