THE COLONEL is back, with what my label describes as another "clutch of dancefloor-shaking bangers, peppered with hard-hitting funky drums, drizzled with flavoursome samples, sprinkled with daft humour, and of course smeared in nasty bass". And who am I to argue with them?
The title track features a snippet of Sheffield hip-hop don J.Poet, weaving in and out of grime claps, plummeting bass drops, jungle amens, jazz keys and blazing horns. Plus two more funk-fuelled, bass-banging tracks included for your skanking (and maybe laughing) pleasure. Hope you like it!
