whoa, FSTZ, you made that remix of Telepopmusik's Smile? I've had that on loop for the past few days. And so far, it is the epitome of this thread, for me.
this thread is awesome. for me it is a little less about the emo-ness of certain tracks as it is the sort of "transcendent sounds" that they have. like when you're listening to a mix late at night and suddenly some beautiful ethereal sounds emerge and you just, I don't know, close your eyes and nod. it just so happens that that sort of quality overlaps on the emo sometimes, at least for me.
