EDM Tracks Without Snares

Post by SMOR3S » Fri Sep 07, 2012 6:17 am

Have you guys ever listened to a EDM track, that had no snares in it? I mean tracks with just Kicks, Claps, Hats, and other drum samples, like Bongos possibly...

I just finished a tune without snares or whatsoever. Lots of percussion heavy dungeon tracks barely have a snare.

I like making tracks that are Clap, and Snap heavy, with a 2-3 layer drum :3

The last 2 tracks I made, had no snares, and I think they sounded really good :3

Ya, some of the snares are so low, where they aren't that noticeable, but most of them do.. I am pretty sure, I have heard Trance songs with just Kicks, and Claps...
