EDM Tracks Without Snares
Have you guys ever listened to a EDM track, that had no snares in it? I mean tracks with just Kicks, Claps, Hats, and other drum samples, like Bongos possibly...
Re: EDM Tracks Without Snares
I just finished a tune without snares or whatsoever. Lots of percussion heavy dungeon tracks barely have a snare.

Yes, loads... you don't need a snare.

I like making tracks that are Clap, and Snap heavy, with a 2-3 layer drum :3I just finished a tune without snares or whatsoever. Lots of percussion heavy dungeon tracks barely have a snare.
The last 2 tracks I made, had no snares, and I think they sounded really good :3Yes, loads... you don't need a snare.

Re: EDM Tracks Without Snares
Ya, some of the snares are so low, where they aren't that noticeable, but most of them do.. I am pretty sure, I have heard Trance songs with just Kicks, and Claps...Phase Down wrote:Your right, pretty much every track posted here has snares or claps in it.. just not used on the 3 all the time lol.Echoi wrote:I love Amit, but this has snares, point of post please?deadly habit wrote:
