40 gigs in loops?!? Why would there be that many! I mean I understand like 500mb or even a gig, but why would they rape your computer like that with loops?

I reinstalled Logic on my new computer and made damn sure I didn't put the fucking loops on there along with it.
If only they gave you 40 gigs of decent presets instead of all the useless loops.

Yeah they are pretty useless if you ask me
Re: Just freed up a F*CKLOAD of memory deleting Apple Loops
I know loads* of kids in real life who are making beats based solely on those loops that come with logic.

Memory =/= storage space.
I think I have like 20gb tops of samples, I probably should delete half.

I deleted my apple loops too I also deleted all the language packs and was able to free up some space.
I was also able to free up alot of memory by moving my NI samples *battery etc* to an external drive

I'm going to snag the app store download in a few weeks because it's like 300quid difference from the boxed version, anyone know if you HAVE to D/L the loops? I know that you download the program first, then you download the loops.... But do you have to?
