Anyone read the piece on dubstep in latest Plan B? Good introduction to the scene. Interviews with Mala, Coki, Skream, Kode 9, Benga...(sorry, ain't got it in with me).There's some funny bits about deleting tunes and stuff. Also a feature in FACT mag, that little free one you get in record shops. The scene's expanding...

it says that benga went out to buy some craig david tune and came back with a tune on the manchu label. Compare bengas blues type tunes to the wookie stuff from that era like scrappy and flex you can blatantly see where he got a lot of inspiration from in terms of melodies
