This is panmodal from Western MA - new to the forum, new to dubstep. Got turned on by the Dubstep Sufferah mix (Grievous Angel), and I've been downloading mixes as fast as my bandwidth can take ever since.

I've been making music for years (violin since childhood, electronics since college), and I run a small netlabel called This Plague of Dreaming (http://www.thisplagueofdreaming.net) - no dubstep yet, but I started experimenting last night, so we'll see how that goes. Dubstep is the first music in a long time that immediately made me want to run home and dust off my gear.

Good to be here - I've got some catching up to do.

My name is Bill AKA "the puppet master" AKA "optimus grime" , i'm 16 and come from tipton in the west midlands. I've been producing drum n bass for a few years and just started to produce more downtempo stuff like grime/dubstep. There

Hello, I'm mumbler.

Just stumbled on dubstep in late 2005, so I've missed out on some good music. I'm glad I am tuned in now.

I've played guitar for ages, make hip hop beats, and play with a band called cilia. Just started trying my hand at dubstep productions. I can't resist with all the inspiring records coming out...

I am learning a lot in the Production forum. It is refreshing to see the level of shared knowledge here.

I'm living in Irvine, CA, USA at the moment. A hyper-suburban blandscape exactly half way between Los Angeles and San Diego. Came here from SF. Culture shock.

I hope to see some dubstep soundsystems pop up in Southern California soon.

good to be here (forums, not Irvine).

Yeeees people. Wasapnin. Im LRB, Aaall the way out here Newport, S.Wales, its taken this long for Dubstep to filter through! Anyways, I started off mixing hip hop about 3 years ago, got bored and moved onto Grime, always favoured the more dark instrumental ish. Then I heard 'Midnite Request..', blew my head to bits, downloaded a Dubstep mix off a website and ...Here I am. Dubstep is the FUTURE!!

I think the fact that I haven't bothered with an avatar yet makes me obviously new. I got into dubstep late in '05 and I've been going to the Dubwar parties since January. Hey, ya'll! :t:
