Yea I used to have one with my old setup. It blew out after about 5 months. I think too much juice was runnin through it or something. They work good tho.

I got one as a present, best present I ever got! Works deadly as send fx for DJing on my vestax mixer and also works great as a midi controller. I built a stand for it so it sits just above my mixer so its easy to access while mixin. i'd rather it than buyin a mixer with built in FX. You can hear a djm600 in a mix but this when used right lets you put your own stamp on a set. Its also deadly for FX in your production work.

Go for it if you've got the beans :)

its a really fun bit off kit.

it sounds like a kaos pad tho, very distingtive sound which in my mind makes it less usable for making tunes.

I own the KP3. I sold my KP2 to pay for the 3. I've used the Kaoss Pad for a few years now. It's one of those things that once you have, you use all the time and you really learn to use it. Once you have one it's not going to sit around and collect dust. Easy to use and the possiblities are mind- blowing.
