Help represent the Forum and Label at Billboard DMS 2006!!
This year, Dubstepforum.com and Pressing Issues will be providing dubstep representation at the Billboard Dance Music Summit 2006 in Las Vegas, NV. DMS is a nationwide business-to-business electronic music conference, playing host to big names in the music business industry including Darude, Hosh Gureli (VP of A&R, RCA), Ferry Corsten, Orlando Puerta (Director of Dance & Lifestyle Marketing, Warner Bros. Records). Geronimo (Director of Dance/Hip-Hop Programming, Sirius Satellite Radio) and Brandon Bakshi, (Director of Writer-Publisher Relations for Europe, BMI).
We’ll be represented by none other than ozeb aka Miroslav Wiesner, executive member of Pressing Issues – he will networking with Industry executives and distributing 5000 flyers with Dubstepforum.com and Pressing Issues logos and information on them.
This is a key chance to touch the people that create, move, and make the electronic music scene world over – and we need your support.
Flyers will also be used to promote the label and forum at the Summer Music Conference and Love Fest (formerly Love Parade) in San Francisco.
The flyers will cost approximately $200US to get printed. If 10 forum members donate $20, we’ll reach our goal. If 100 forum members donate (the average number of people that vote for Pressing Issues polls) – each forum member needs to donate $2 for us to reach our goal. Any money above the goal of $200 will be put towards our web hosting costs and other business expenses.
To help us reach our goal please visit http://pressing-issues.co.uk/donate.html and click on the PayPal button. Worldwide Paypal donations are accepted as are Visa and Mastercard.
This is a monumental opportunity in one of the best party cities in the world, viva Las Vegas!
Thanks in advance to all forum members for your support. The validated winners of the ISSUE001 vote will be published shortly! We are just awaiting confirmation from the artists.
A special thanks to badman designer (and DJ) Subtek for donating his design services for this endeavor!!!

Hey all - thanks to those who have donated!
To answer the deadline question... the first conference is September 18th and the local printer needs a 3 day turn around so to be safe I would say the cutoff is around September 14th or so??
and monkeychops - what week are you in SF? We've got a tonne of stuff going on in September/October.
Thanks again!!

Anyone else willing to help? Folks are back from Burning Man and the reports are saying that dubstep slayed in the desert!
Both the Love Fest and SMC conferences will have great potential for promotion as many of the people involved in Burning Man will also be involved in these ventures.
DMS is more industry focused but the buzz is growing so the people I speak with will have definitely heard rumblings of our favourite past time.
We need about $100 to $150 dollars more to make this happen... every little bit helps!
Thanks to those who have stepped up!
