i agree with most of what he said, epecially that the first Mortal Kombat was good when i was 9, and even though its a pretty bad movie its watchable. havnt seen maybe half on that list though.

The Mario Bros & Mortal Kombat movies were great just because of what he mentioned, being a kid really into the games. These days I see how horrible they are but still enjoy them for what they meant to me when I was 10 I guess.

I only saw the Postal movie once on a drunken night, and yes I remember it was bad, but I also remember not hating it (liking may be too strong a word), because I loved the games so much. It's probably Uwe Boll's best movie actually. Scut Farkus as the Postal Dude, and not to mention a naked Dave Foley haha.

it could of been awesome though, i remember playing the game thinking "this would make an epic movie" but the screenplay was off and so was the acting, as soon as i hear Marky Mark was playing the lead, i wept.

the thing that pissed me off is that they changed the main story aswell slightly from the game. ill need to rewatch the film actually to actually have an in depth cuss out over the film but in the game there was the whole mafia/cultist thing going on with the green drug (valkrie????) and in the film its a soldier that was given the drug to enhance him and went loopy loo on the shit and now sells it but is still bat shit insane.

there was no dream sequence in the film either was there, the dream levels in the game used to scare the SHIT out of me (when you'd hear that scream getting louder and louder if you went in the wrong direction).

on a slightly related but slightly not subject, i was so disappointed with the Harry Dresden tv series...the books are film noir style detective shit but with a magic theme...tv series just fucked it savagely.

Some of the games from the Alien franchise have been pretty good. Alien Trilogy and Alien Resurrection on the PSX were both pretty fun. Also got to mention the Terminator 2 arcade game, with the big fucking gun attached to it. Godfather and Scarface games were ok as well, other than that though they mostly suck pretty hard.
