Re: I feel so terribly ashamed.
If you hear my other stuff, it's as far away from House as possible. This isn't intentional at all. But I went to a Funky night the other day and I've never skanked so much. The music won my heart, so within the last week I've been really loving everything about it and I just remember when I was like 12/13 and hated House, with pure passion, I couldn't understand it... You know DNB4LYF and all.. :p
Anyway, I kind of rushed this track and want to give it another go!

When you were 12/13 id hazzard a guess to say it was the mid to late 90's and your exposure to house didnt stem past MTV dance and the plethora of middle of the road ''Anthem'' cds (I could be wrong!)dj seizure wrote:If you hear my other stuff, it's as far away from House as possible. In honesty mate, people will give you constructive critisism in here, theres nothing really to hide, if people dont feel it they generally wont comment on the thread rather than put down your efforts, unlike certain other forums.
So many people new to the genre always feel like they have to explain themselves before they upload and share tracks, but there arent many genres with as much freedom to be as experimental and expressive as you please as the House umbrella.
Its all about being creative, exploring different types of music and sounds.

Re: I feel so terribly ashamed.
Very true. But unfortunately not, It was 2002/2003 when I was 12/13.. But still, I'll give it a good go and send it back in here!groucho_marxx wrote:When you were 12/13 id hazzard a guess to say it was the mid to late 90's and your exposure to house didnt stem past MTV dance and the plethora of middle of the road ''Anthem'' cds (I could be wrong!)dj seizure wrote:If you hear my other stuff, it's as far away from House as possible. I'm just finding it hard to make tunes which aren't in my own comfort zone, stuff I already know etc, so I feel like a right noob at House and feel like I have no experience in production at all when it comes to creating the sound I want!
Anyway, like I said, I'll give it another bash and send it through!
