Can't wait for it. ASOIF is prolly one of the best (if not the best) fantasy sagas ever. Although waiting for Dance of the Dragons is kind of... frustrating?

y'all aint lying, the books are taking forever!!! although, if you think about how long the Dune series has been running, it's not so bad... the series I'm most worried about is the Wheel of Time series since Robert Jordan died (RIP) :(

anyways, a month and a half away!!!!

Really can't wait for this! The books were amazing, and if the show turns out anything like the Wire it should really do them justice!

Really enjoying it. Good to see an outsiders take on that "South / North" divide in the U.K. Anyone else following this?

loving it at the moment. like that its not as gay as LOTR and the characters seem a bit more human. not just good and bad, bit more depth and complexity.

sort of know the story arc a bit and i know that magic comes into play a bit as it progresses, which i dont like. magical fantasy can lick my balls.

all in all though, top series so far!

Not a snide dig. Just keeping things moving.

It was a reference to magical fantasy with a mockney twist, which was also was a reference to my first post. I'm like a shit Stewart Lee.

Im not usually a fan of this type of fantasy, definitely wouldnt read the book but I thought id give it a chance. Ive only seen up to ep. 3 and although the story is a bit slow its likeable enough to keep me watching on.

The visuals are very nice, both the sets and scenery and the female cast, and I like Sean Bean and Mark Addy. The little girl is also a strong likable character.

Tyrion, the half man, annoys me slightly but he is a dark little fucker and I give him credit for this:

I hate that Prince Joffrey...

I have a feeling this is going to be a good series and I can imagine the story getting very interesting but if not ill probably keep on watching just for this:

Yep, enjoyed that!

The magic in this series is small and doesnt even show till the third book, so I don't know if we'll see any if this series just follows the first book...

didn't really get invested in Queer as Folk. It's hard for me to see anyone from The Wire in anything now.

Bad enough I think russell westbrook of the OKC thunder looks like Boadie to the point of driving me nuts.
