Dismantle - Computation

Post by bassbum » Fri Jun 01, 2012 3:46 pm

I did do a search to see if there was a thread for this track but I couldn't find one.

I dont get why people have been rincing this tune for months. I really dont like it. I feel like there something im not getting but every time I hear it in a mix I want to turn it off.
Anyone feel the same?
Dose it even go off in a club?

I love this tune and pretty much anything that Dismantle's doing atm.

Yes it goes off in a club, in a big way!

people are rinsing it because it goes off in a club.

It's not 100% to my taste but Dismantle definitely brought something new to the table, it's a fun tune.

That's just my two cents though.

I like most of Dismantle's stuff but I really just don't 'get' computation. Sounds like it's gonna be such a good track from the intro and then bam! Completely fucking stupid annoying beeping portamento synth :u:

The VIP is even worse...

It's strange though because I absolutely love some of his other stuff such as Times Up

First time I heard Computation was when N-Type dropped it in a club and the whole place went mental. It's not really the sort of tune that you sit and ponder the intricacies of, it's for smashing the dancefloor. Fair enough if you don't like it though, everyone's got different tastes.

Really really don't like this tune. It's so annoying.

He has some other better tunes though

I am not a fan of this tune either, first time I heard it was at a night too and I just could not stand it, almost ruined the set for me, thank god it did not get pulled up, anytime I hear this tune I head for the bar or bathroom....

I don't like the tune on its own, but when you hear it come in a mix it really changes the pace and has a lot of energy and bounce to it

this track goes!

bridging 4x4 electro/dutch styles with 140 = party

though it seems not everyone likes him,
i can appreciate that he made a name for himself by NOT perfecting someone else's sound

This tune has been rinsed to death lately where I'm at in the states. It does go off and is a great party song so as a result every electro/bro/dubstep dj plays this at every party it seems. I have been digging the 4x4 sound lately and like dismantles tracks but the last month this track specifically has been dropped so much. It's funny because that release came out 8 months ago, it's as if the DJs in my area all just suddenly discovered it in the past month.

I'm not gonna lie I absolutely hate this tune. Fair play if people like it, but yeah it's not for me.

No doubt that it smashes a dance though.
