ableton stock plug in... not used it much but have achieved some really nice results

did i miss something? because ableton doesn't have a stock granular synth.

absynth or alchemy are definitely the best. well, malstrom is actually... but you have to buy reason to use that.

well it has the grain delay which will get the sound characteristics you want, it just doesnt generate tones by itsself
