NO

I like him but he's not even remotely a musical genius.
exfox wrote:your list clearly lacks some shackleton

Anyone feel like having a go on this? I'd go for;

- Kode9
- Ariel Pink
- James Holden
- FourTet
- KiNK

Off the top of my head.

I have no fucking idea how he slipped my mind

Reckon I'd drop Ariel Pink off my list to include him...or maybe KiNK? :?

Where's Incnic with a well timed and misspelt "Burial"?

Villalobos

got a few more names sitting in my head but i'll leave them in there for now.

Hmm, this is a toughie. Here's a shortlist.

- Burial
- Rustie
- Four Teats
- Explosions In The Sky
- Jam City
- Forest Swords
- Pangaea
- Omar S
- Instra:Mental
- Arcade Fire

Ultimately though, it's Burial for me (#Obvious). Don't think anyone has ever taken a multitude of their influences and used them to create some so unique that still manages to reference a tonne of identifiable stuff.

ras, suck ur mom u sket.

Jam City is massively underrated. Started doing his own take on eski bare before other bres jumped on it, makes some of the most unique tunes I've heard over the last 5 years.

I tried listening to club constructs, genuinely some of the worst music I've ever heard outside of radio 1

Unless that was just a dud and his other stuff is gold, I must be missing something..

Ah yeah, not really a fan of Club Constructs, but his album was good and his other 12"s on Night Slugs are sickkkk. This is one of my favourite 12"s in my collection.
