PRESSING ISSUES: Logo Competition: Official Rules of Entry
Thanks to those who have contributed and to those who’ve promised submissions, we are looking forward to your entries.
Just a reminder to everyone that the deadline for submission is Sunday May 28th. We have gotten a number of entries already and expect another dozen or so to roll through. Since there has been such an overwhelming response to the contest, we felt it would be good to explain how we plan to run the polling.
An initial vote will be held from WEDNESDAY, MAY 31st to WEDNESDAY JUNE 7th. We will then take the TOP 5 winning entries and resubmit them for a shortlist final vote a few days later with the same 7 day timeline.
The entries will be posted anonymously so that voting decisions are made entirely on the artwork and not the artist behind it.
Once the winning entry has been selected from the second round of voting, the artist will be contacted and steps taken to finalize the logo. The PI committee reserves the right to clean up the winning logo and make executive decisions on surrounding typography and color choices (many entries have arrived in black and white only some as pencil sketches to which we say AWESOME!).
NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE TO ALTER OR AFFECT THE WINNING CONCEPT.
The winning artist also understands that as a part of the PI collective, full usage license is granted to the label for use on all promotional and product items and that compensation exists only in the form of the list previously provided (see below)
* 2 free copies of the initial release
* A copy of subsequent releases at cost
* A Free T-Shirt
* Free stickers and other schwag that we may produce
* Full credit on website and other collateral
* A pressing-issues.com(co.uk) email address
* Nothing but love from the dubstep forum massive!
Thanks to all who have submitted. Anyone else interested can do so before the deadline. Just PM your entry in GIF, JPG or PNG format to ozeb (Miro).
Here’s to supporting the scene with solid tunes and great visuals determined through a fully democratic process!

A lot of people are submitting multiples. We may need to trim down a little if it gets out of control but since we are shortlisting the highest 5 I am trying to make sure we have room for all of them.etidorhpa wrote:It doesn't say in the rules about not submitting more than one entry (or does it...).....i've got too many designs to just pick one....can i submit a few designs?
Bring em on!
