Rob Smith's unique take on Dubstep is informed by many years of experience with sound systems. As part of legendary groups 'More Rockers' and 'Smith and Mighty', his boundary blurring interpretations of jungle, trip hop and UK reggae played a crucial role in establishing Bristol's reputation as a musical landmark in the early 90s. These sounds infuse his Dubstep productions with a depth that commands respect from all corners of the scene and ensure that his refreshing, energetic DJ sets are dominated by deep thunderous basslines and raw hard-hitting beats. Anyone who caught him at the West Indian Centre in May or at the Outlook festival in Croatia last month should know that this is a set not to be missed!

Fresh from smashing up Outlook festival in Croatia, Subdub main man Exodus makes a welcome return to the Ruffage decks. As always he'll come with a bag of the finest dubs, so expect a bass heavy set crammed full of new material.

Ruffage residents Badga Tek and Thomas E. Griffin (recently arrived from Liverpool) are going to start and finish the party. Look forward to some different stylings with some deeper dubstep, grime, 2-step, bassline, wonky, jungle and whatever else they find lurking in their record bags.

Yeah it is a shame. But don't worry, all the promoters have resolved to make sure we don't clash again in the future.

yeah tis a shame about the clash - in fact its a shame we can't have a bigger venue and a head on clash, cos we have high pressure sound hehe

we've spoken to vagabondz and i think both nights will be pretty rammed regardless, cos the students will have just got to leeds and will be well up for a piss up whether its at the fav or at wire :D
