over the time of you owning your computer you have put loads of crap on it. some programs decide to start when you start the computer.....this takes up your cpu and ram when you need it(especially bad if your computer is weak anyway)p89 DO NOT REMOVE ANYTHING THAT YOU ARE NOT 100% SURE ABOUT like it says there you have to do some research into the startup processes before getting rid of them

if u install ccleaner (which i higly recommend uncheck the cookies tabs in the internet explorer and firefox sections), and under the advanced tab untick everything!!)







In your audio software:

Adjust your buffer latency settings to resolve the stuttering effect

bounce down (turn to wave file) your vst instruments

get rid of your desktop picture just have a blank screen


please add more advise if you have it....especially about optimising within audio software

BE CAREFUL DELETING STUFF FROM YOUR COMPUTER YOU DONT WANT TO REINSTALL WINDOWS AGAIN.

uncheck all the waste in the start up and system tags, shit like windows helper, updates.....they'll be a lot of shit that comes with programs like nero or photoshop etc, just no need for it.

yeah and run some adware busting stuff.

careful on the defrag though, i've lost a horrible amount of tunes and cubase files using that in the past.

im not sure what all software supports track freezing i know ableton 6 and cubase sx3 have it.. this is huge for freeing up resources and lets you add way more components to your tracks without abusing yor processor. it can take time to freeze a track but its worth it.

if you have had a lot of shit installed on your computer this will clean out the registry and may take a while on older systems....and it will make a backup if you need to replace a registry file you deleted.....but this thing is the best registry cleaner ive used.

this is my comp..Viewmaster portiva laptop with cetrino intel processor, 512ram 40mb hd. about 4 years old.

this is what i run when making beats:

Pro Tools LE
Reason rewiered into at least 15 stereo tracks in tools
at least 25 Rtas plugs in any given tune: EQ's comps Limiters ect.

I use a shit comp but i acheive wicked results.
