i recently found this online. in short....the tunes of mine on this ep are NOT signed to this label. they are in fact signed to my own label, for some time now, even. and i'm pretty sure that there are other tunes on here that are illegally procured as well. DLX, 6BLOCC, abZ, i'm pretty sure none of that is legit. what to do about this conundrum? i've heard other stories about this label and the individuals involved in the operation of Foul Play Dubstep. what's even worse is this EP is all over torrent tracker sites for free.
suggestions?

contact all the artist involved and the label and find out what's going on...
bottom line is, if you have not given consent for them to use your tunes then they don't have a legal action.
Be polite but firm and tell them that unless they take it down immediately and distribute the profits to the artists then you will take legal action.
don't stand for this sort of shit man!

you could try customerservice at djdownload first. all the digital stores have a process in regards to copyright issues. djdownload would then have to talk to foulplay to verify their rights. i'd start there.

Wow that is beyond fucked. I'd contact djdownload first and see if you can get it pulled, then contact that label and tell them to get fucked (in as many words.)

HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Yeah I have serious inside scoop on this scenario....I'm gonna watch this thread for a day or so before I spill the beans. I've tried to write something here now for the past 10 min but I think it's too soon for me to share

For now I'll just reaffirm the fact that we are a small community and that if you're shady, the word will get out on you, just as if you're not shady. This dudes reputation is at hand.....I'm gonna see how it pans out for a little bit before I give my 2 cents.

...and to think I nearly signed to them.
They just never got the release out so I signed a few tunes to Adversion, which is somewhat related to Foul Play.

I think it's safe to say no one who reads this thread will be purchasing tunes from this label ever again. At least I hope so. That is brutal...prks.
