Tropical returns to Leeds after a much needed Summer break, and we're back with a bang, bringing you the finest in UK underground sounds.

After tearing the roof off Wire back in March we are pleased to welcome back Tropical favorite, Doc Daneeka. Since making his Leeds' debut earlier on in the year Doc Daneeka has been busy building some serious forward momentum. Not settled with just releasing tracks on the mighty Ramp Recordings and their sister label, PTN, Daneeka decided to set up his own label, TenThousandYen. Putting out tracks by the likes of Venom & Damage, Julio Bashmore, fellow Welsh bass specialists C.R.S.T and of course himself this label has already grabbed the attention of some of the scene's finest DJs, such as Martyn, Mary Anne Hobbs, Oneman, Modeselektor and Cosmin TRG.

Making his Tropical and Leeds' debut we are pleased to have the Blunted Robot, Mr Martin Kemp, gracing the decks at Wire. Since bursting onto the scene with "No Charisma" way back in spring last year Martin Kemp has firmly established himself in the UK underground scene with his genre-blurring releases on Blunted Robots & No Hats, No Hoods. His boundary-pushing sets merge House, Dubstep & UK Garage all with a Tropical flavor. Certainly not one to be missed!

Also on the bill we have Hessle Audio new boy, Blawan, making his Tropical debut. His "Fram/Iddy" release on one of the finest labels going caused quite a stir in the UK underground with gossip mongers sparking off rumors that it was an alias for Hessle Audio co-founder, Ben UFO. Not much is known about this up & coming producer, but what is known is that his cold, percussive productions have grabbed the attention of not only Hessle Audio but legendary record label, Warp. So much so they invited him to provide a remix for band, Hundreds In The Hands' latest single, "Pigeons".

Providing the warm up action we have Tropical residents Jera, Jangle & Mella Dee playing the finest cuts of UK Garage, House, UK Funky & Dubstep.
