Yup. I got a release on Soul Jazz records. So excited!

It's out on Monday but its in the Soul Jazz web shop now.

It's a new funky remix of Move Down Low. The main draw is the VIP - which is, though I say so myself, absolutely massive. Goes off every time in the dance. Best thing I've ever done. All massive drums, big drops, snatch of Rubi Dan's vocal - latin funky apocalypse. Like the Ice Rink b-side mix but bigger and ruder. Sinden's been caning it for months.

The a-side is pretty hot though - it's the original version I did, not the one that came out on Devotional Dubz last year, the one I sent to Kode 9 and which he's been playing ever since.

Will be in all the usual stores any day now. Don't miss - the artwork is lovely but there aren't many about!

That's what's really good, man, big tunes - I'm glad to see these come out!

The digital link doesn't seem to be active yet, but I'm ready to get this as soon as it's available. I had my credit card out and everything, no lie.

I guess by "although I say so myself" you realize, if only very slightly, that calling your own tunes "absolutely massive" or "pretty hot" is a __parr__
wouldn't bring it up if it was a one off or something but you seem to have some sort of modesty issue when it comes to pr'ing yr shit lol
let the tunes speak for themselves, it's not like people on here haven't heard of them or anything anyway

Some of my tunes are good, but small - subtle, and a few people like them but not many.

Some of my tunes both sound massive and just go off in the dance. I wouldn't hype mdl VIP if I hadn't seen what it does first hand. And if djs I respect hadn't told me It was one of those tunes that really work.

So you're making a valid point - but i genuinely believe it's a really good record, a really big, barnstorming, in your face tune. So I say so. Sure, that can be irritating... But would you rather people put out tunes they don't really think are that good and don't believe in? Of course not

i rate that VIP. doin a lot with a little if u see what i mean. hot percussion and drums to the fore. really great for mixing

Soul jazz were keen on doing a digital release too, so I think that's coming - shouldn't be long but I don't have a date yet. I will ask.

The a-side - "kode's special" - is going to be on the kode 9 DJ kicks cd too - you can guess how excited I am about that.

I haven't dropped the bubblez moniker but I'm mainly keepng it for bootlegs. I'm trying to do much better music this year -a lot of last years stuff didn't quite make the grade. But there's a bunch of bubblez stuff about... The refix of simpleton's weh hear bout on the bogle riddim (bogle is MADE for funky, chuck it in live and try it!). The new refix of maze's joy and pain. Soundclash funky refix. Gregory isaacs' fear refix for Droid. A tune for baobinga. Loads really.

heavy rotation on my radio show, the vip is my fav but definitely a big release, nuff respect
