I've compiled a short list of things that I consider absolutely neccessary for the marketing/press associated with this label, mostly based off of my own experience and the input i've been able to find in this forum thus far.
Weigh in your opinions and share some knowledge!
Logo (300DPI or higher)
"About Pressing Issues" statement/paragraph
Stickers
Committee member profiles
"About Dubstepforum.com" statement/paragraph
Committee member contact one-sheet
Now, I consider the above the absolutely neccessary has to be done material - as this is a unique label ownership format the opportunity for interviews and other such online/print press is HUGE, especially if the first few releases create some waves within the community.
The stickers are used for plastering cities/handing to dj's/perhaps sending with the first 50 orders of a release per country (??)/other viral-type marketing, making the name a household name and aiding the development of the label image
Committee member profiles and contact info, as well as the two "About" statements/paragraphs are for uniformity and online press, easy uniform info and access for when the promotions/A&R really takes off.
The logo explains itself, as well as any other graphics assoicated with the label. This will be used on flyers, on releases, on press releases, in online press, etc etc etc - this is imho THE most neccessary item on the above list.
Also needed for press is a press/industry contact list, though see the introductions for committee consideration thread for more about that
I know that there is more collateral needed, but I figured I'd put a peg in the ground and start with the basics. I've already drafted an "About Pressing Issues Recordings" statement, and will post that up shortly (also working on an introductory press releases introducing the label and the first release)
Input welcomed, encouraged and all that jazz.
