Re: How to Become a SoundCloud Superstar, For real.

Its hard to recognise whether you aren't getting enough views on your tracks because you're shit, or because your underexposed sometimes haha ^^ i'm quite pleased i'm edging towards 4 figures on most of my tracks now though :)

Re: How To Make This Sound - January 2013

Hey guys, anyone have a clue how to make the synth that comes in at 1:01. I'm getting close but I can't get that natural feel to it, mine just sounds like a poor attempt with some saws. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=RhDFtgTrd88 Thanks! A couple things that stand out to ...

Buying a subwoofer, any suggestions as to what to buy?

Looking at a budget of like £200-300, I already own KRK RP6's, and wanted to add a sub to my setup. Anyone got any suggestions for something thats gonna be good for producing and listening at this sort of price? Thanks guys :)

Re: Buying my first DJ equipment.

Yes it is absolutely essential. Download the free home version of Virtual DJ and play with it. You'll at least get a grasp on concept of DJing. Already have had virtual dj for a long time and have used it a fair bit, also have practiced with mates usb decks a lot. As for the person suggesting resea...

Buying my first DJ equipment.

Hi guys, so I've been producing for a while and I wanted to start to learn to DJ so I can start playing out at small events and such. Almost all these events use CDJ's, usually pioneers, so I definitely wanted to get CDJ's, maybe pioneers. I have absolutely no knowledge of DJ-ing or what I'm going t...

Re: Creating "warm" synths

reverb, chorus, weird plugins like soundtoys crystallizer, bit of saturation, old compressors, i've used bass amps before on random stuff and that works

Re: Creating the Xilent synth swell type sound

If you check out his earlier dnb stuff you can hear how much of a sick producer he is. All these how do i do the gemini/xilent sidechained bass are all gonna give you pretty much the same answer, just a simple bass with insane production and ear skills used with it. His tunes are insanely tight, sam...

Re: How to recreate megalodon's basses?

i just do not understand how people want to sound like other producers, you are not gonna make it if you are going to reproduce someone else his bass or what ever. Create a preset yourself, tweak it and make it YOURS, I did that to most of my tunes and I am still trying to make it better and better...
