well put. i was trying to figure out how to articulate this point myself but
you summarised it nicely.
i guess with a sample, more often than not, its used in the knowledge that
clearly it comes from somewhere else entirely whereas this is not obviously
the case with a preset as it can sound like something original.
fair play to skream if he admitted it was a preset from the off and he evidently
did something good with it cos its an awesome tune
btw to those who dont appreciate the 'over analysing' on this thread, if it bothers you nobody is forcing you to read it.

He did, from the get-go. I heard it on a podcast someone posted here a time ago.
Time to let this go?

Really, who gives a crap.
Easy question - do you like the tune, who cares how its made.
Shug: There are more people in the greater London than there is in the whole of Scotland.
Rab C Nesbitt: But I mean, for goodness sake, it's quality that counts, not quantity.

Just having a laugh mate. cos the whole discussion about 2D (and its implications) was done to death in previous threads.
And also, this thread seems to highlight a trend of over-analysis on this forum, which can get a little tiresome (for me anyway).
I should probably just read less stuff.

Let's have a pint and talk about sinewaves, shall we!
