how do you know he didn't have a sound he wanted and after playing around with effects for hours could not make one as good as the preset....

You don't and I don't know what I just said happened

I do know that it is a fucking sik tune regardless of what preset he used

You hear it as it comes out of the blue matrix synth. It is exactly the same. The melody, the sound.

This always goes back to the same 'if it sounds good use it' arguement. This is weak, you will never push things or better yourself by doing this it will just make the genre stagnate.


well i disagree with that but i will say that using a preset patch AND melody is kinda weak. mostly the melody though.

Minor it's a fucking preset it's there to be used. Do you think Native Instruments put it on there for show?.... Duno why certain people are complaining theres people who dont even use sequenced presets and just take other peoples melodies or sample them. A preset is totally different.
