£7.99 is ridiculous, most albums on places like boomkat or junodownload are less than that.

yeah but skream didnt price it did he?
also it is a comission as well isnt it , so would you really expect him to pour every last bit of himself into making some sort of 30 min villalobos structured (which would be 100x harder at 138bpm without 4x4 kicks underpinning it anyway) masterpiece just for nike? that would take as much effort and time , if not more, than doing a whole other skreamizm.
it is what it is , a nike/ipod corporate flex , but he's done a good job of it, i'd rinse it on the rowing machine/treadmill , has that sort of robot motornik thing going on.

skream wrote:dubwise_gamgee wrote:tune sounds pretty uninspired, imho... quite "cold" electronic production. of course you might say, that's taste but to me it sounds like a quick production on the computer with state-of-the-art software, tweek some presets sounds, put in a very un-rythmic tempo-change in the song and off you go... well, but that's just my opinion and i'll probably get lynched in this forum for critizing one of skream's tune (just kiddin), but he definitely has spoiled us with way way better and more inpsiring tunes than this. plus the price is unreasonable. it's not like he wrote a 30 min symphony which is real thought-out and totally fresh. sorry to say, but this seems more like generic music-software production... but i guess he can't always please everyone, obviously. this haven been said, big up skream for the incredible large amount of good music he's put out (and especially the stuff that hasn't or will never be put out!).
I completeley hear what your saying here.....
But this had to be the hardest/ most stressfull task ive ever done...
Its not like u can listen to it like a normal tune, you have to constantly continue listenin to it which can make u sick of the track...
Think listening to it through twice is an hour....
I am happy with the track but..... do admit its not the best peice of music ive made....
Thats my 2 pence
big up for the honesty skream, very humble .. I'm gonna grab me a copy .. I love nothing better than "cold" electronic production
Can't imagine this was an easy task .. I mean come on this is fucking Nike ffs !! ... a trillion peeps have the opportunity to hear his music.
£7.99 for 30 minutes work is a fair price to pay IMO
