and not only unknown artists, but every tune will have some sirious public reaction and discussion..
that's why i think it's very healthy and i say BIG UP
+ my advice: all profit should be re-invested in next releases, development etc.
good luck!

That being said, it's not every day that you can POLL 5% of the worldwide audience for a genre. This is unique, and can be HUGE if we plan and execute properly.

To promote their own stuff, most of the time
Being about unsigned music is awesome, but it's all about promoting that music.

UFO over easy wrote:Haha, that'd be cool.
Once again, no disrespect meant to anyone involved, it's a great project.

Keep 1st June free man, we're packing out Oceans 11 (close to where you live I think?) with extra system and throwing down some dubstep till 4amGot Distinction down, and Rusko's gonna play out all the heftiest forthcoming Dub Police bits too. Gonna be sick
We'll be posting in the events section as soon as we have flyers printed. This is all short notice so we need to get as many heads down as possible

None taken but I'm not convinced that this venue and the relationships built within cannot show benefit when promoting releases.
If this were a forum of dental hygenists then I would agree with you but the fact that it is a group of people passionate about the music from locations around the globe does provide an promotional advantage.
I actually spoke with a couple of tech/culture journalist friends and they thought a label spawned from an online community was fairly unique and newsworthy.

Ahh cool, yeah he mentioned he'd lived on victoria road. I was surprised to find out he'd helped set up the dubplate cutting place in hyde park tooBeen seeing that place advertised in the social for ages.
Nice one man, come say hi when you get down. It should be an excellent night. Stella at a quid a bottle too, mashup time
As for the thing being newsworthy, that's awesome
