Try the "Layer" channel type. The notes will be named after you 'Set Children.' If you want to use pitch try the "note pitch" on bottom of the Piano roll. You might have to select it by right clicking the dash on the left, its usually set to velocity.

same. i use just the clips for automation, vocals and midi notes. i guess you can do LFO there too but i'm not really 100% sure how. the pattern bars are definitely easier on your eyes when you're doing 4/4 to me though.

i think it is easier because of the make unique feature cause then you can clone a drum pattern all at once to a new pattern and edit it for fills and what not that way my drum patterns sound similar with subtle differences

no i was not and as for your question y took two separate 3xosc patch's and linked them to a layer channel and them split the children then set the range of one to C5 Cb5 and the other to C6 Cb6 them set the root note of the one at C6 to c 6 and that work so i could play both through my keyboard

Say we are going to do 8th note triplets. This is 3 notes in the space of two eighth notes. In FL, each note in a beat is divided into 24 subdivisions from 0 to 23. This is why the tick counter goes to 95 for a beat.

4 notes * 24 subdivisions = 96 ticks

Since 2 eighth notes is 1 beat, and we want to fit 3 notes there, we divide the number of ticks by 3.

96 ticks / 3 = 32

This means we want a space of 32 ticks between note 1, 2 and 3.

As he said in his tutorial, you can just select the first three and shift drag to fill the pattern. Duration is just the length of the note. A value of 24 is a 1/16th note on 4/4 time. This math will work for any triplet you want. Enjoy!

I write most of my synths in 3xosc, but there's only so much you can do with 3 oscillators, does FL have anything with more oscillators that I don't have to buy? I use Reason and Ableton as well, but I'm learning how to use FL right now and was just wondering.
