i've downloaded some VST plugins (camelphat and blockfish) for renoise, but i can't seem to install them or even open them by dragging them into the application?
i've edited the plugin preferences by ticking the boxes of my library to allow the vst plugins to open. also i download both audio unit (AU) and vst versions of both freeware but none of them seem to be opening?
help please?
have you put them in the right folder? If you are on PC, then they should be put in a folder called either 'program files/steinberg/vstplugins' or 'program files/vst plugins'. You either need manually drag them into the folder or select that in the browsing options of the Plugin installer.... and ive never had a problem with any of my plugins (even using the new 2.6 beta)

You can freely assign any folder you want to use as your plug-in folder.
'Scientologist, John Travolta and Tom Cruise Sue The Shit Out Of Trey Parker and Matt Stone'
Still not a girl, though.

If you were to pronounce it as if it were French, it would be "Renwaz". That's how I pronounce it. Rolls off the tongue.

I recently bought renoise, and I'm really getting into it and starting to use it as my main DAW. As for old projects I've started in Reason, is there anyway I can transfer the MIDI data from the horizontal piano roll type inputs, into the trackers? I get how to rewire reasons VSTs into individual channels, but will I have to go through re-entering all of the notes and automations into the Renoise tracker?
