hahaha, i'm in that video! Wild.

Theo absolutely tore the place down that afternoon-- it started POURING rain, folks crowded around the tent-- and then, fuck it, he tore into some superhuman soul material and got 300 people grooving... in the rain. fantastic.

He also really tested the limits of that system-- he's not just cutting eq's, he'll push the shit out of the mids and get a lot of edge and volume. not necesarrily pretty but definitely an artistic statement. and the floor just ate it up. Extremely different from his times here @ Cielo.

You can't really see it but his eyes roll into the back of his head when he's in his groove-- straight-up zombie style. Dude is not of this earth.

wow- you were there! thats awesome. obviously i'd love to have been. i was in brooklyn recently for the first time and really really dug it too.
pushing the mids in that way comes across in some of his stranger productions.
it all seems so instinctive - like he doesnt hold back at all, just goes his own way in his own time
great to watch people when they really seem to be in the special place
