Kowton and Akkord have both been described as UK techno and been posted a fair bit already so sure, why not? all for breaking down those barriers if the tunes are interesting enough(people diggin this sort of thing seem to have a similar idea of what constitutes 'interesting'), which we couldnt really do if we got picky about exact genre names.

i like the fact that akkord have m ade some more obviously techno tracks, and then some others of theirs are super sparse 2steppy business like doobstop. not bound to one genre
for techno in the same vein ive alwahys enjoyed this Eleven8 track ^

Akkord proper bore me for some reason. Not sure if I'd really consider their stuff part of this "movement" but I guess the fact that others do shows the diversity there is.
