From what I know, he's definitely stopped performing (though he did a performance or two in the Benelux not too long ago) to focus on sound design for games and movies and stuff. When I spoke to him last year he didn't rule out future release, but said to pretty much not to hold my breath.

If I recall correctly.

Anyway. Along with Abelcain and Amon Tobin I'd say that Milanese is pretty much my BIGGEST influence as a musician. Breathtaking.

Mad underrated tune of his.

I'm sure i heard somewhere that he's giving production a break. This'd be a real shame though if its true, the guy is a badman. Double Face is a percie.

I'd love to see him do more hip hop. Maybe some collabs with Cannibal Ox, Company Flow, Jedi Mind Tricks & KRS-One. :e:

Ye he definitely "retired" from music which is totally shit. Man is a legend.

Remember when i first heard his first EP on Warp... was in complete amazement. Definitely had a big influence on the music i listen to.

My mate put him on in Falmouth a few years back along with Kid606 and DMX Krew and he absolutely killed it. So much growly bass in his tune.

Barry Dub is RIDICULOUS, used to listen to that for hourrrs. such a good producer, real shame if he isnt producing anymore. I swear he had some rare release on warp back in the day which is pretty sought after?

1Up was his only release on Warp as far as I'm aware. You can actually pick it up pretty cheap on Dicogs. Extend & Adapt are pretty hard to find though. Would love to have Extend on vinyl purely for Mr Bad News. That tune is an absolute killer.

I think I saw him for the last time in Brussels (or maybe Liège??) two years ago. I"m assuming he's retired from production (or atleast on an indefinite hiatus). A few years ago this guy was automatically on my recommendation list when people asked me what dubstep was.
Respect tribute where due. Badman.
