So what happens when dubstep becomes main stream? Do we cry?
Interestingly enough, the whole idea of things becoming main stream such as dupstep (where I live its up and coming, not fully mainstream yet) makes us not like it. Why? I don't know? It seems odd to think that when we love something so much and we listen to it all day, we would rejoice when another likes it, too. I have then heard that it might be the case that in some way dubstep is "disrespected" when listened to by the mainstream audience. But why can't we all enjoy it for different reasons? One may enjoy it for its intricateness, and others may just enjoy it because it makes them feel good.
So dupstepforum, what will happen if dubstep becomes mainstream in your city? And if it does, or already has- do you care?
