Check out http://www.partyflock.nl , I'm pretty sure it's in English as well. It's a listing of pretty much every event in NL and even internationally.

soundsystem is 6 out of ten....

ithink mon;s at he winston is cheeky monday dnb, with some dubstep thrown in...tuesday is more dubstep...

i avoid the paradiso and melkweg parties for the most part...not really my crowd..but i have been to some decent parties in the past at these locations...

didnt see much on the listings page here, but ill be over at the record shop later and ill have a good look and post back for you...

The Melkweg (Amsterdam) has Trolley Snatcha & Cookie Monsta on the 16th: http://www.melkweg.nl/artikelpagina.jsp ... eid=muziek

The Patronaat (Haarlem, 10 mins away from Amsterdam by train) has Distance, Lurka, June Miller, Myrkur on the 18th. http://patronaat.nl/17-12-2011/radical: ... ler-myrkur

Posted a round-up of good dubstep nights on my blog here: http://honderd40.com/ There's also an "NL dubstep" facebook page which has a pretty decent agenda. Have fun! Shame you're missing the 5th birthday of Sonic Warfare on the 23th. with Youngsta, Vivek, Untold and about all the finest dutch DJ's

sorry hit the wrong button lol

in order of my preference:

distortion records- westerstraat
rush hour records - spuistraat
concerto records - utrechtsestraat

killa cutz (nieuwe nieuwestraat i think, just near rush hour on the other side of nieuwezidjs voorburgwal) is closed and repalced by a bike shop, but in the basment they have piles of old vinyl. not much dubstep that i saw but lots of old house techno dnb in varying condition, if you just go in the bike shop and ask to see the vinyl in the basment they'll let you browse.

theres a few other vinyl shops in town but they dont really carry dance music in general.

feel free to pm me if you want any other advice about amsterdam. be it about music or whatever.

This is the perfect thread for me, I'm moving to Amsterdam for two years, starting next year.

I'm not 18. Anyone know any decent all ages venues for me?

:W: and Rush Hour is the one. They know house/techno better though, probably because of the label they run.

Distortion got some older Dubstep too, aswell as some new releases that Rush Hour doesn't get (white labels, Wheel & Deal stuff etc.)

Okay thank you, I may just do that.

I'm interested in a more old school dubstep scene, less so of a hard hitting agressive dubstep, tho I don't mind a bit o that :D
