Hi,
this mix was done with two turntables and an effect rack tower ('STRFLD Simulator').
Vinyl was carefully selected, mixed, juggled and re-arranged.
Sounds were layered and feedbacked through alienatedly connected effect devices. Delays, Reverses, Phaserings and Modulations sum up to an audiosphere of dopplereffects.
This Upload is actually a snippet from the STRFLDTAPE01, that is circulating in Hamburg, Germany since late April 2011.
The Mix was built for cassette format, but we have decided to upload an excerpt as an entry for the Outlook Festival Competition.
