Started by in 2009 by Loefah…the creator of “Root”, “Mud”, “Yours” and “Disco Rekah”.

Releases by Kryptic Minds, The Bug, Skream, Addison Groove (Headhunter), Ramadanman, Pinch, Boddika and Faulty DL.

Every release is “bag-on-sight”. Every 12’’ an essential addition to anyone’s collection. One of a few elite labels truly bringing new sounds to the table.

To compose a mix that demonstrates SWAMP 81s potency is one mean feat, so this mix aims not to simply showcase the tunes released on SWAMP, but to explore the different sounds and moods created by the artists selected for the SWAMP roster, with a few other gems thrown in for good measure.

Mixing duties handled by Low Society resident Hellmore. He’s supported Kryptic Minds, Silkie, N-Type, Babylon System, as well as supporting Norwegian Black-Metal gods Mayhem in his heavy metal endeavors.

“When starting to compile this mix it started as only SWAMP tunes, but it became apparent very quickly that doing so would not do the label justice. Instead I’ve selected not only SWAMP releases, but dug into the entire catalogue of the producers. I wanted to show what these artist have done as well as what they’re currently doing, regardless of record label...with a few Loefah bits added respectfully into the mix.”
