Returning to mixing duties after his phenomenal debut in #002: March of the Slugs, Sydney DJ 'BT' aka 'Beetle' delves deeper into his collection to bring you an eclectic mix of UK electronic beats centered around the '8-Bit' sound. Although it's not 8-Bit music in a strict technical sense, this unmistakable sound is a staple in electronic music sampling bringing an undeniable texture to any genre it's applied to, whether techno, grime or one of the many facets of dubstep (sometimes referred to as the 'purple sound'). The mix aims to unify these distinctly different yet inextricably linked tracks, taking you on an hour-long journey through an audibly-transposed pixelated landscape, rife with drum-machines, stubborn synth-stabs, bleeps, bloops, 'n' bass.
