Continue With House Or?

I am working on a EP, that should be released, sometime by December..

I was wondering... erm, how should I say this... Continue making House style music, or possibly make some Dubstep....

It's a UKF Dubstep Tutorial Redux, but I am just not that familiar with dubstep, to produce a solid track...

My main concern is.. In my mind, I feel that dubstep dominates for the most, as the main genre of Electronic music, even though that's not true... I want to make Electro House/House, but also feel that I should expand my genre range... I hate my self sometimes.. It's so hard to convince my self...

it is indeed a difficult predicament you have yourself. have you thought about just making some electro house dubstep o something that is uniquely your own. you could mess around and get some rnb sample as well and cut them up over the dubstep bits in your tune. so the idea would be the first intro would be just electro house beats a massive kick and i think some noise this builds up into a drop where you hear some of the bass noises only a tuny bit and layer a sin underneath your big bass for more weight you dont need it too loud though so you can barely hear it on your monitors then in the club it will bang as well, also be careful your kick isnt too loud but you could also get some more character into your music with some well deployed gabba kick rolls i saw someone put a triplet garage fill in once and with the woodlblock percussion and square wave bass it was a bit grimey you get me bruv a bit of the noise and raw shine that grime has and then moodyman makes these drums your could nick as they are really lite and almost like hi hats so you layer this over your gabba kicks and id just sample a snare you lke and overdruve it.

I like woodblock sounds a lot... I kind of was thinking, of going with a chillstep/chill dubstep mix... tambourines, flutes, cellos, woodblocks, atmospheric/ocean sounds etc....

I guess it's an intimate thing really, cause Trouse, House, Prouse, and Electro House just gets to me... I feel the music, on an emotional level... I love that flowy lead, and nice chill bassline...

i think some rain could be cool like in an intro and some distant voices and ehcoey percussion mayyybe a note from a lonely panpipe
that would be sick something like the more relaxer chiller sounds. if its a dancefloor you could try one of your heavy eelctro basslines underneath and when the drums drop have a double time kick and few bird noises very quirky production and could be cool to get a name and style out there i make logos btw if ur song is chill enough i can do the pictures

That's a nice chill tune..

I have been a brony for almost a year and a half now ^__^... I was at BronyCon this year :3 It was so awesome... Talked with Tombstone for about 20mins.. Planning to play a set with him next year, at Summer BronyCon 2013...
