i wonder what it is in the hipster psyche that makes them think that parodying other hipsters will somehow remove them from the categorization.

if anything, it makes them ultra hipsters

(off topic) Found a script for GreaseMonkey that hides Youtube comments. Have to say it serves it's purpose.

I find it really hard to find hipsters funny.

not really

the hipsters into electronic music that are old enough to grow beards are into Washed Out, Neon Indian, Memory Tapes, etc and only listen to that because the nugaze bandwagon is full

This annoys the fuck out of me. It's one of those situations where the people taking the piss clearly are as bad as the people they are taking the piss out of.

How do people have this image of dubstep anyway?

James Blake is a hipster thing. Brostep is a.... (drumroll pleeeeaaaase) bro thing. If I remember correctly the guy who started calling it brostep is from california so I'm preeeetty sure brostep is literally named after bros themselves. We got bros all over socal but from what I understand they're not that common in a lot of America and nonexistant in the UK, but god damn they're everywhere in southern california (especially my suuuper WASPy suburb). They're the fools that drink 2 cans of FourLoko then hop in their GIGANTIC lifted white truck to blast Kottonmouth Kings and pick up their girlfriend (aptly termed bro-hoes) then go beat on some darkies while shouting "faggo.t!" at people from the safety of their car. It's like the worst combination of like... guidos and chavs... but with a lot more racism/sexism/homophobia. Beware of this cultural phenomenon!

Hipsters love dubstep here in Canada. Mostly because they just got off their tech house fixes and need something to party to :u:

that's because you live in a suburb

All bro's and hipsters comes from the burbs.

For every bro'd out public burb school there's likely an arts magnet school within 20 miles cultivating scarf wearing hipsters
