Any books on the history of dance music?

Post by thekuku » Sun Jan 20, 2013 1:15 am

I just ordered ''Energy Flash'' and would like to learn more about the history of dance music. Could you recommend me any other books on the subject?

that's great, as is Modulations (although a bit dated now). Altered States is a good book about drugs and early dance music, really interesting

Cool, I''ll check that :corndance: From what I've seen most of the books are about the british scene... Now if anyone knows about a book on the history of house music, that would be great too.
