Software synth books

Post by tbunreal » Fri Oct 15, 2010 5:27 am

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to dubstep production, so one of my main questions when I first started out, like everyones was, how do you make a dirty sound. Well mainly people told me just to fool around in the synth, and I have been doing that, but you can only do so much when you don't really know what you are doing. So I was wondering what soft synth has the most information going for it. Such as lessons or books, because I would really sit through a whole book if it meant I could make awesome sounds and I knew what I was doing.

So any recommenced book or lessons would be great thank you!

honestly just messing around and a manual explaining through the basics would get you there
the alesis micron reference manual http://www.alesis.com/micron# and the synthesizer programming http://www.access-music.de/api/download ... %20English reference guide on the access site should get you going and apply to almost all synths
