What DAW do you use?
Logic 9 and Ableton Live (still learning)

How long have you been producing for?
1 year and I've been playing drums for 11 years.

What VSTs do you favour?
Logic plugins, Massive, FM8, Absynth, Omnicide, Battery, Albino.

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?
Some Rottun stuff (Sook, Droid Sector, Vaski), Hench Stuff (kinda chill like Jakes).

Influences (both inside & outside of Dubstep)
Rottun crew, Circus crew, Hench crew, Skrillex. For other stuff: Mumford and Sons, The Fray, August Burns Red, Texas in July, Dead To Fall (RIP), The Black Dahlia Murder, Attack Attack, and the list could go on and on...

Would this be a remote collaboration, or would you prefer someone to work with IRL?
Doesn't matter.

What is the best way of contacting you (PM/IM/email - obviously provide the email/IM address if it's the latter)
PM

Gnar Wall

What DAW do you use?
Ableton 8.1

How long have you been producing for?
Producing for over 2 years. Played bass for 8 years.

What VSTs do you favour?
Massive (lol). It's honestly all I have. Most my songs are based on sampling, and Ableton does a pretty good job of that on its own.

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?
I've begun to focus my sound into a sort of mixture of Gladkill, Deathstar, Martyparty, J:Kenzo, Grammatik, Flying Lotus, Tokimonster, and the likes.

Influences (both inside & outside of Dubstep)
Flea from RHCP, Datsik, Pretty Lights, Bootsy Collins from Parliament Funkadelic, Eskmo, Gorillaz, Mimosa, and the people I mentioned above.

Would this be a remote collaboration, or would you prefer someone to work with IRL?
Probably remote. I live in Philadelphia.

What is the best way of contacting you (PM/IM/email - obviously provide the email/IM address if it's the latter)
PM me or email: Gabej1989@gmail.com

Provide a link to where your music can be heard
Soundcloud. Also, I have a main page and a WIP page. I'd be happy to send you a WIP if you wanted to fuck with it.

Only just seen this.

DAW: FL10.X (whatever they lauched 10 as) (can use Reason, Cubase, Logic)

Producer for : Around 5 years.

VST's: Reaktor, Sylenth1, Glue, Amplitube (have massive/fm8/absynth tho)

Sound: Early halfstep vibes ; space pace and bass - don't mind doing some techy rollers or deeper dancefloor stuff (as in no bait wobbles) though! Quite into making those lately

Influences: Triphop (massive attack, Portishead), Moloko, Golden Era hiphop, Duke Ellington, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, Radiohead, Bowie, Joy Division. (sure the get the idea..)

IRL Or Online : Either.. I am in SE London (Greenwich) will to travel within an hourish away on train, if you get the beers in. Pref someone who doesn't smoke weed like a chimney (but don't mind a little bit, just it gives me migraines)

Will only travel to someone else's not come to mine - can't really work on monitors for long periods of times due to neighbors with kids and I am polite enough to not have blaring music 24/7 ,so unless you have a headphone splitter - its yours :P.

Contact : on AIM : Legend4ryinnit / PM here

Open to make a range of styles from Hiphop to House or Dubstep - as long as its deep and has groove! Opportunities to release the music on a few up and coming labels (as I have a few who'll put out anything I am passionate about putting out there!)

Soundcloud.com/Lienne < Hiphop

Zerbaman

What DAW do you use?
FL Studio 10 & 9

How long have you been producing for?
Around 3 years I think?

What VSTs do you favour?
Mainly the stock synths, but sometimes I use freeware for distortion effects etc and some filters. Izotope Ozone 4 for mastering.

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?
I don't really have an idea of it, my "sound" is kind of lost between all the different kinds of music I listen to really. But at the moment, I have several releases forthcoming with Plush and Crazy Rabbit Recordings if that helps?
I make a bit of everything and anything really. Except Gabber. Fuck gabber.
Currently trying to branch out though, in terms of labels, because I've been making a lot more dubstep over the past few months

Influences (both inside & outside of Dubstep)
Old James Blake, Hoax, Mekha/Mtsq, DFRNT, Synkro, Sorrow, Mount Kimbie

Would this be a remote collaboration, or would you prefer someone to work with IRL? (NB - if IRL, please state location)
Probably Remote, but if you're in London, I'd be glad to come around.

Rufa (Debaser1)

What DAW do you use?
Reason, any audio editing, mastering etc in Logic Pro.

How long have you been producing for?
Well, I've been playing and making music for 10 years, but I've been making dubstep for a 8 months now. I have a strong sense of musicality, harmony and theory.

What VSTs do you favour?
Basses - Malstrom, Subtractor, have been known to use Massive from time to time.
Synths - Malstrom, Thor, NN19.
Drums - Redrum baby!

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?
Well it's really hard to say. My favourite producers of 'proper' dubstep as it were are Caspa, Stenchman, The Others (practically all of Dub Police), so anything with a hint of midrange sounds a bit like them: quirky, chunky, thick etc. But I make a lot of garage, house, hip hop, drum and bass, and guitar/piano music. I think 'experimental' is the word to use.

Influences (both inside & outside of Dubstep)
Inside: Caspa, Stenchman, The Widdler, Jamie XX, Burial.
Outside: Radiohead, Mf Doom, Madlib, El-P, Left Brain, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Rage Against The Machine, etc etc etc etc etc!!!!!

Would this be a remote collaboration, or would you prefer someone to work with IRL? (NB - if IRL, please state location)
Remote probs. I'm in birmingham.

What DAW do you use?
FL Studio 10

How long have you been producing for?
Started 6 years ago, but got serious with it about 2 years ago.

What VSTs do you favour?
I was using the ColorSpace synths, but have started using Massive. Bitcrusher, Corrosive, and your typical FL default VSTs.

What artists/labels would you say most clearly reflect your sound?

I would have no idea how to answer that.

Influences (both inside & outside of Dubstep)
I love video game music, and that is a huge influence for me. DatsiK, Excision, Borgore, 16 Bit, Bassnectar, Rusko, Caspa, Deadmau5, Flux Pavilion, Dr. Philth, Stickybuds, Skrillex (of course), Sub Focus, Pendulum, etc.

Would this be a remote collaboration, or would you prefer someone to work with IRL? (NB - if IRL, please state location)
