Tough call, all had interesting ideas, but for me the most creative use of a vsti was on "Monkey pickle"

Some very, very high quality tunes here - many, many contenders if you ask me - not to mention many tunes I'd love to hear dropped 'pon the dancefloor. Each track has a unique approach and something cool to offer, and that's despite using the same basic kit. There's a lot of musicality going on here too, which is great. I can honestly say that there are no glaringly 'bad' tracks in the lot, IMHO.
Have to say also that anyone who doubted the potential of ELEK7RO may want to reconsider... and I'll bet that some of the participants (as opposed to party zip pants
) may wind up using it or some of the Kjaerhus plugs again in the future.
I'm gonna go spread the word about voting in some other threads (or Freds if you speak Cockney.
) Oh, and this thread needs to be stickied at some point...

Tough decision.
Bunch of good ones here
Definitely liked Rasta in a Bottle a lot, monkeypickle had some sweet sound design, and Dactylic was another nice one as well
But I think Blinking Lights gets the vote

Re: VOTE HERE for the winner of VST Contest #1!
OK, 2 things:

1) THE VOTING HAD TO BE RESET. Here I thought that I'd been all careful and thorough and avoided making the same mistakes we've seen in past contests, but I fucked up and missed a tune - "Contest" - that I just added to the set. Please be sure and give it a listen. My sincere apologies to the producer of that tune as well as all of you who already voted!
Please re-submit your vote (all 10 of you that already voted, that is.)
2) Anyone fancy making a mix from these tunes when the contest is over?

Re: VOTE HERE for the winner of VST Contest #1!
dude, in the end there was no contest.
for a while it was a close call between elliptical charm, monkey pickle and rasta in a bottle, but then i heard:
you're annoying!
this beat takes the cake. it's not a song, per se, but as a hip hop beat it is great. it's the only one of the submissions that i would actually listen to again (no offence other guys - hey i didn't even finish mine), and i would totally dig it again especially if it was done up in full. truly grooving! nice one whomever wrote that piece.
