so i decided to watch it.

i got up to the part where he's playing the chopped beenie man vocal over some midrange bassline. fuck me that was hard to listen to.

I think my heart just died. When he said 'I'll use the bass sound from last time' and there wasn't any bass. >_<

I learned so much from this tutorial. I had no idea dubstep was at 140 bpm ad that you place the snare on 5. sooo coooool thanks skrillex! :D

I will say, although the tutorial itself is pretty rubbish, I still am slightly amazed that people can actually functionally use renoise. I tried it once and all I could do was just stare at it. So +1 for just being able to use it.

after the initial "wtf is goin on here" it's actually far more comprehensible than a lot of daws (imo anyway).

a long while ago i messed around with a friend's copy of fl studio....lol i could not for the life of me tell what was going on with that shit, although some of the plug-ins were cool.
