speech synthesis
Just interested in everyones opinions on and experiences with speech synthesis. I've been trying a few different programs to try and get a feel for it (mainly trying eSpeak atm), but i am finding it hard to imagine ever getting a decent smooth line of speech. I'm gonna mess around with a few samples of it in Reason and Ableton and see what the results are, but was just interested in what (if anything) you all had to say.

Actually, I don't blame you. Some information retains value by remaining semi-exclusive...
Despite what someone else wrote about ShitTalker, I dig it - the trick is to write things in phonetically and tweak the playback params a little. Doesn't sound like a real person, but that's just fine for electronic music IMHO.
