EGOLESS - Natural samples vol.0

Post by egoless » Thu May 13, 2010 11:11 am

Besides the flood of "how to make dis wobble sound, and how to sound like my favourite producer" threads I find this forum section extremely valuable source of info & inspiration. In order to give something back to the people involved I present you:

Natural samples vol.0

This small sampler is a vol.0 version of things I plan to do in the future. All samples & loops were recorded and performed by myself and you are free to use them in all kind of purposes, except selling it... In vol.0 you'll find me hitting on various boxes, doors, pots, keys, umbrellas, shoes, lighters, zippers etc. (hence the word "natural" :)) This volume is a small pack of things to come, and I hope you'll find some of this sounds usefull for your productions... There is a little noise involved in samples, but hey, I love noise... :)

not exactly close to done, but I have the blueprint ready... I'm moving the studio from my apartment to the room full of amps, drums, percussions so it's time to record some organic sounds on top of the tunes... :) I'm in no hurry... :)

An LP is pretty hard to do, especially when you do various stuff like me. I don't want it to sound like a bunch of tunes, rather a one big story... And then that self-critique thing... it can be a bitch sometimes :D

surprisingly they sound good too
kinda a cheap build for live use, and clips are cheap as, but studio use they are great

Cheers, hope you find something usefull...

vol.1 will consist some guitar loops (reggae, dubby with real spring reverb, analog echo), some keys, organs, and some real hi-hats, ride, cymbal loops suitable for dubstep/2-step, aswell with some real timbales/precussion loops and hits...

hehe, well the pack is rather small one, so I named it vol.0 because of that. Next one will be a bit bigger...

cheers!

Should start a collaborative household sample thread. Everyone has to go around their house and sample the best sounds they can come up with and then post them up.
