I have heard bits and pieces of his stuff before, but never as a whole album.
However, I'm listening to Los Angeles at the moment. The combination of classic MPC swing and swirling soundscapes is just epic. Proper inspiring stuff. It's also a very interesting album as a whole and flows much better than most electronica. I am definitely a convert

haha, about time man! Los Angeles is just one of the best and most concise albums i've ever heard. One of the few that really warrant just listening to as a whole. He's just got The Groove.
Reset and Cosmogramma are A++ too

Flying lotus is amazing and he's helped to spark an amazing new influx of interesting hip hop into LA. The beat scene is amazing right now. Check out Samiyam, flyamsam, mono1poly, take, gaslamp killa, ras g, etc etc for some more awesome psychadelic shiznit.

I practically studied LA when I first got it, it didn't leave the CDplayer for a good half a year...Its truely amazing.
If you're after something else with amazing soundscapes and truely brilliant production, check out Nathan Fake - Drowning In A Sea Of Love

Any album what makes you skip to certain track is just a collection of song anyways...I believe an album should be a journey into an artists mind and life and can only be listened to start > finish.
Fly-Lo certainly writes albums

I think Flying Lotus must be the best human being ever to have existed.
