I want to do a track with a womens vocals, but i dont wanna do a remix, i want my own track, any place i can acapellas, but not of well known songs?

Acapellas4U and that are sick, but i cant be doing with pop songs :P

you can buy packs of "original" vocals from places like loopmasters. who knows what they are like.

know any girls with nice voices?

otherwise it's bootleg remixes for you buddy.

Check out people who release on Creative Commons, a lot of artists (not a lot of good ones, mind you) release their music with stems. click

yeah i looked through Creative Commons yesterday, not really too impressed, i live with a girl with a stunning voice, but no idea how to go about that, i dont have the funds for studios and the works?

how i DIY record from student digs? the only recording tool i have is my iphone :(

Do you know anyone with Rock Band? It comes with a passable USB mic.

just use the phone and send it to ur comp with blue tooth. itll be tight after a couple takes im sure 8)

diy reflection filter/shield and use an expander on the track properly

shit i'm in the same boat, though i have mics and setup in a less than ideal setting to record
i need a good vocalist which are hard to come by

If you're looking for acapellas I know Nu:Tone's hospital records have released an acapella's album available in WAV format - got some pretty awesome vocals on it aswell.
