Pro tip that I just figured out. It is so pro.

Take a distorted snare, put reverb on it. Dry volume 0%, decay 0.1MS, Reverb 100%. Sample the end noise it makes, loop it, add lfo to cutoff, whatever. It is fucking amazing. Here is a sweet ass sweep I just made as an example of this technique fucking awesomeness.

I like it, sounds like something about to take off. Automate the lfo and you've got even more interestingness. Pretty normal approach with snares but, for risers :)

just keep a list of all the crazy sounds you can make or you will forget somethings
