Post by makemerich » Fri Apr 22, 2011 8:10 pm

yes. i have read the previous threads. for months.
no i do not need you to talk shit to me.

im using cubase 5 and pro tools.
to modulate the vocoders notes in cubase do i just send said notes to vocoder via midi?
tried it and there is no input or maybe im not sure how to do it.

vocoder on audio channel, with the voice you want to alter. put a synth, massive for example, on a midi channel. set your vocoder to receive it's audio from an external source - in this case massive. turn the midi channel's volume all the way down, then start playing notes on massive which will affect the original audio (your sample of a voice).

sorry, those are just general instructions, i'm sure youtube will have daw/vst-specific tutorials.
